Lamby made more appaerances in the 2005 season than any other cricketer in the history of the club. Added together. Probably. Was there a game he didn't play? Got a bit stroppy when he was told that he couldn't play for the under 17s.

A hard-hitting batsman and wicket keeper, Lamby has returned to the club full time in the last 3 seasons, after a self-imposed exile behind the gate next to the tea room.

Tip - make sure you hide his shoes, so that you can beat him into the tea room, especially  if you ever happen to play at Nunthorpe with him. Lamby was first in and managed to eat 75% of the available tea for all 26 players & officials. Mind that was only about 10 sandwiches & a cake.
