Juniors Background;

We have a thriving junior section and strongly believe this will secure the future of our cricket club. At present, we run four junior teams (U11,U13,U15,U17) and one Cricket Development Group aimed at children aged 4-7 years. We also have a junior committee that looks upon how we can add future value with a focus upon families, friendship and fun. Please click here to sample life as a junior cricketer at Blackhall.

Objectives;

To implement a player development pathway that will increase participation at grassroots level and support future progression,

To maintain an effective relationship with schools in Blackhall, Hesleden, Horden, Peterlee and Shotton,

To increase the number of volunteers in administration, coaching, catering, umpiring and scoring,

To introduce a reward scheme that will inspire excellence and drive the performance of players.
